I first realized the magic of painting when I was four years old. This passion has continued to this day.  There is something spiritual that takes place when an artist picks up a brush and begins to apply paint to a barren canvas.  The idea or concept becomes alive, and transcends from the artists creative core and magically takes its course until the painting is completed.

My paintings begin with one idea which slowly evolves, using biomorphic shapes and color to create movement and depth throughout the composition.  I love color and use one against another to catch the viewers' attention.  I feel abstract paintings dominate the space in which thry occupy and therefore, I like to work in a large format.

My goal is to create a work of art that is not only pleasing to the eye but, is able to stand alone, and at the same time cluses the viewer to process the magic.
